Vanishing Horizons belonged to my friend Amarette, who I met on the Arborwin forums and RPed with. When Arbowin re-adopted out pets whose owners had disappeared from our online circles, I asked to hold onto Vanish (who was now paired with my Aren), Wylfaleck, Kaetilk, and Firlak. Some time before this, around 2000 or so, Amarette gave me Tauneran to commemorate our friendship. See Vanish's family tree.
