Firlak belonged to my friend Amarette, who I met on the Arborwin forums and RPed with. When Arbowin re-adopted out pets whose owners had disappeared from our online circles, I asked to hold onto Vanish, Wylfaleck, Kaetilk, and this fellow. Sometime before this, around 2000 or so, Amarette gave me Tauneran to commemorate our friendship.
