A soft-colored stallion races through the fields below a bright red samanayr darting through the sky. He finally leaps and glides down a rolling hill, and the scarlet samanyr tumbles beside him.

I designed Whisper of the Lonely Gale as the stallion for Mystic of the Skyborne Spirit for the Perfect Pair contest in June 2015. I wanted Mystic's mate to be as in awe of her as I was. Lonely is shy and uncertain, despite all his attributes that would surely make him an amazing flyer. His name was inspired by a Skyrim character.
