As far as male Carmors go, Alagast is a sweetheart. He doesn't try to hunt the Chevei or the Lorriam that live in the same realm as he. He doesn't attack the other Carmor, Arjagim. He's almost always in a good mood and whenever his emotions take a sour turn he takes a nap.

From Carmor Info: "Carmors are similar to wolves in lifestyle. The will live together in groups of up to twenty or so individuals during the breeding season and when food is profuse, but will break up and live singly or in pairs during the off season and famine when it is easier to look out for ones' individual needs first."
